Regarding the build information displayed on the desktop, I understand it's purpose. However, I enjoy other desktop backgrounds, and sometimes it is a real distraction. I tried several tricks to remove it, and even caused a bad boot event. This did give me a chance to try the recovery options (insert disc, boot from disc, and follow the steps. It was easy, pretty fast, and I feel more secure about any problems I may encounter. (Now, I'll use the Express Graphics Designer to create a desktop image with a white background in the lower left corner to blind it out). And, so far this build is performing well except for the fact I am waiting on special printer drivers to install. -- bmike63
